Experience and Expertise In Annealing Heat Treatment

There are many different choices in companies who can provide annealing heat treatment services. At Bluewater Thermal Solutions, we offer experience, expertise, and specializations in being able to produce quality parts and components through annealing while also being able to handle high volume orders with ease. This sets us apart from the competition.

We have multiple locations across the United States, each with their own specialized processes. This allows for maximum efficiency with processing orders, and it also allows for experienced staff to focus on specific treatments. The result is a short turnaround time on orders, with each part produced to meet and exceed our customer's expectations. A quick review of our annealing heat treatment process will demonstrate the attention to detail and our commitment to the best possible solutions for heat treatments.

The Two Stages

All of our annealing heat treatment orders are completed in two stages. The first is designed to soften the metal through heating to a point to remove internal stress and any granular or crystal defects in the metal.

The next stage allows for the development and growth of strain-free grains within the metal. This nucleation and growth have to be done very precisely to allow the time and conditions for the internal restructuring to occur.

Cost Reduction

While many of the Original Equipment Manufacturers we work with require an aesthetically pleasing final product with no need for additional finishing, not all parts fall into this category. For parts requiring an oxygenation free process, we provide vacuum annealing, or we also offer a range of different nonreactive atmospheres. These include hydrogen, nitrogen, or endothermic gas.

In some cases, there may be no need to eliminate scaling or decarburization. In these cases, we can provide air atmosphere annealing, offering a cost reduction for processing these types of parts.
