Quality Manager

We are looking for an entry level Quality Manager to ensure that our products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the consumer. The ideal Quality Manager is observant with an eye for detail and will plan, coordinate, and direct elements of the quality management system. This individual will oversee daily inspection activities and will work with all individuals in the facility.

Responsibilities:  Include the following and other duties maybe assigned:Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
  • Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback
  • Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements
  • Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis where required
  • Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met
  • Submit detailed reports to appropriate individuals within the organization
  • Be on the lookout for opportunities to improve and develop new efficient processes
  • Maintain quality control objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals
  • Plays active role on quality management teams within organization
  • Investigate and respond to customer complaints regarding quality.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • With assistance from the Plant Manager, supervise the employees in the Quality Control Lab
  • Some supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws

 Education and/or Experience:                                                

  • Degree (B.S.) in industrial engineering (or similar engineering discipline) from four-year university is preferred; or a minimum of 4 years of experience in quality supervision.

Language Skills:                                          

  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret the quality management system documents.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, management or employees of the organization.

Computer Skills:                                            

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office and SPC-related software.
